Merton Heritage Discovery Day 2025

 Mitcham Fair

Saturday 16 August sees the return of Merton's ever-popular Heritage Discovery Day.

This is a FREE family-friendly showcase for our borough's colourful past. It includes walks, talks, displays, quizzes, children's activities, reminiscence, workshops and stalls from Merton's many museums, historical societies, art, sports, environmental and community heritage groups.

The 2025 event will also feature a giant model railway layout, historic Speedway strips, Mudlark finds and art, plus the chance to meet a Womble and a special Womble Walk for younger visitors.

Click on our itinerary link to see full details of the programme.

The main event is open to all but our talks must be pre-booked. For more details scan the QR code below.
