|Notes / History||This was just one of many tableaux depicting scenes from local history, part of an Historical Pageant staged at Wimbledon Park House. The Volunteers (Territorials) were played by Officers, NCOs and men from the 5th Battalion of the East Surrey Regiment. King George III (played by Col. W. Alan Gillett) reviews the Guard.
The Historical Pageant was a three day event that included stalls and refreshments in addition to the historical plays. Money raised from the Fair was used to build a hall for Wimbledon Park.
