Notes / History This Floral Tableau by child dancers was just one of many tableaux depicting scenes from local history, part of the Historical Pageant staged at Wimbledon Park House in 1925. This was a three day event that included stalls and refreshments in addition to the historical plays. Money raised from the Fair was used to build a Hall for Wimbledon Park.

The dance was performed in the John Evelyn Gardens, named after the diarist, who visited the house in the 1600s.
