|Notes / History
|Morden Hall Park is the countryside come to town. It is a beautiful park, now owned by the National Trust, with with River Wandle flowing through it, creating a haven for wildlife.
There are native trees such as oak, beech, ash, birch, limes and some riverside trees such as willows and alders. It is important to have a range of trees of different ages so that these can form varying habitats to encourage different species of birds.
