| Notes / History | Seafood is a very popular food sold by tradesmen visiting local pubs with laden baskets, or from mobile stalls. With modern transport routes and refrigeration, fresh fish and shellfish can now be carried to the local area from larger markets such as Billingsgate in a very short period. Not seen as often these days there are still some that exist. This stall is pictured outside the King's Arms, Mitcham Town Centre. |
