Notes / History The Fisheries Cottages were occupied by the mill workers from Grove and Crown Mills that were in the same location. Grove Mill can just be seen to the left of the picture, behind the trees, as you look at it. The cottages fell into disrepair during the 1960s/70s but were saved. They became known as the Fisheries Cottages when an estate agent advertised them for sale.
