| Notes / History | Dairy cattle can be seen in the fields with one of the farm workers. The farm comprised over 160 hectares of land to the west of Morden Road and north of London Road. For 30 years the farm was run by members of the White family, who had retail outlets in Merton, Wimbledon and Tooting. The dairy was purchased by United Dairies chain during the late 1920s. The pastures were subsequently sold for development. |
