|Notes / History||The main building to the left is one of the Snuff Mills, to the right of the photo is Mill Cottage and the single storey building known as the Bothy.
Mill Cottage was the home of the works foreman, a position held for 125 years by the Groves Family. Emma Groves, the daughter of the last foreman, lived at Mill Cottage until her death in the 1970s.
The Bothy was probably used as a lodging for estate workers.
