| Notes / History | Carters established a 19 acre site in West Barnes Lane, Raynes Park in 1910. The firm was world famous, winning numerous awards for horticultural excellence. As well as the number glasshouses, seed beds, testing grounds and storage warehouses on the site it also had laboratories. Here you can see a lab technician inspecting seed growth in one of the laboratories. |
