|Notes / History|| Many of these tiny shops still survive, although their use has altered over the years reflecting the changing fashions of the times.
This photo shows a tobacconist shop and a butchers shop next door, you can just make out meat hanging in the shop window. Further along at the junction of London Road and Eveline Road the Word "Wireless" can just be made out on the shop. We believe this to be the Swan Radio company at 162 Eveline Road.
To the right of the photo is Figge's Marsh.
