Notes / History | These cosy tearooms stood on Worple Road, Wimbledon, between 1938 and 1968. While milk bars and ice cream parlours were popular with teenagers, tearooms were geared toward the family market. Notice the collection of copper kettles, strainers, and saucepans, now used as decoration to add a little "period charm." |
