| Notes / History | This float depicting 'United Nations' was part of a procession during the coronation celebrations for Elizabeth II. Other floats included decorated tricycles, vintage autos, the May Queen and Mitcham Amateur Boxing Club. The procession ended at Mitcham Stadium where displays and other entertainment took place. The Grand Finale was a fireworks display on Mitcham's Three Kings Green. |
