|Notes / History||Charles Lack and Robert Masters Chart in Tudor costume, taking part in an Elizabethan Pageant during the celebrations for the Coronation of George V. The Pageant, held on Lower Green, commemorated the historical link between Mitcham and Elizabeth I.
Charles Lack was a local draper, while
Robert Masters Chart was an architect and captain of the Volunteer Fire Brigade. In later life he was also the first Mayor of MItcham (1934).
